Nancy Sorrell walks the Red Carpet!


Nancy has been a successful model for the past 15 years. She has now moved from the world of modelling into television presenting and acting, as well as pursuing her passion for singing.

Nancy has appeared on many television shows including: 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here' (ITV1), 'Come Dine With Me' (CH 4), 'Lets Dance for Comic Relief' (BBC1), 'Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes' (ITV1), 'I'm Famous and Frightened' (Living TV), 'Avid Merrion Xmas Special' (CH 4), 'The Friday Night Project' (CH 4), and is a regular contributor to GMTV, This Morning, and 'Angela & Friends' (Sky 1). She has also presented 'Trust Me I'm A Holiday Rep' (FIVE).

As an actress she has appeared in comedy drama 'Catterick', The Bill, EastEnders, Lynda La Plante's 'Killer Net', Family Affairs, and the blockbuster 'Love Actually'. She has also filmed comedy sketches for 'Shooting Stars', 'Bonzai' and 'Monkey Trousers' with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer. She also plays a range of characters on her husband's new Radio 2 show 'House Arrest'.

Nancy continues to model regularly for many high street brands including NEXT, M&S, Knickerbox, and wedding designer Ritva Westenius. She also regularly models with her twin girls including for NEXT and Pampers,

Nancy is a keen singer, singing on Jeff Beck's last album and UK tour, and appeared on 'Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes' as Karen Carpenter, and sung 'Santa Baby' on the 'Avid Merrion Xmas Special'.

Nancy is married to comedian Vic Reeves and lives in Kent with their twin daughters Elizabeth and Nell.

Stuart Manning does a Solo Sky Dive!


Having recently returned from L.A. Stuart Manning will be risking life and limb by doing a sponsored solo skydive next Thursday 8th April! All donations go toward the Malaria No More charity.

Speaking recently, Stuart Said "When i was deep in the jungle I supported a fantastic charity - Malaria No More UK and now, along with Sam Fox and Jimmy White I'm jumping in a Celebrity led skydive for the charity back in the UK. Infact, I'm learning to do a solo skydive which should be amazing!!!"

All the money raised will go to Ghana, where 100% of the population are at risk of the disease. A little goes a long way; 5 pounds will buy and deliver a life saving bed net to a family in Africa, protecting two people, usually a mother and her child for five years.

TV3's Style Wars is calling for contestants!


It's Style Wars on TV3: Prepare to Clash!

Toto Productions and TV3 are looking for this season's must-have fashion talent to participate as contestants in a brand new reality series, Style Wars.

Style Wars will broadcast on TV3 this Summer and will feature ten of Ireland's aspiring fashion talent battling it out to be Ireland's ultimate style star.

The show is open to all males and females over 18 but they must have a real obsession for fashion and know their haute couture from their high street.

Over the course of the Summer the contestants will compete in fashion-based challenges that will result in weekly eliminations. Each week, the carefully selected judges will decide who makes the cut and who will fall apart at the seams.

The judging panel comprises of two of the leading names in style and fashion and includes Fashion Label CEO, Caprice Bourret and International Irish Fashion Designer Peter O'Brien. Guiding the candidates through the rigorous tasks will be Mentor Angela Woods, whose career spanning three decades has jump started the vocations of many Irish Designers since joining NCAD in 1996. NCAD is the platform responsible for many famous home grown talent including Joanne Hynes, Alan Ardiff, Jen Kelly, Orla Kiely and Philip Treacy.

Speaking on behalf of the judges Peter O'Brien explains what the candidates should be prepared for: "Working in the fashion industry takes tenacity, courage, enthusiasm, motivation and resilience. The candidates will need thick skins and be prepared for criticism as fashion is the toughest industry to break into and even harder to have a durable long-term career."

Caprice agree's: "It's not just about hard work, they will need a real flair for fashion and the drive to survive in this cut-throat business. Ireland has produced so many famous names in fashion, and we're looking for the next style star on the cusp of a brilliant career."

The New Buck's Townhouse in Leeson Street opened its doors Tuesday, 2nd March to greet Ireland's finest, with TV Star and DJ for the event, Chris Fountain.

Specially invited guests celebrated the 1st Birthday, as well as the opening of the exclusive VIP Boudoir Suite. There are four new bars throughout the venue with full bar service that stock a complete range of spirits, wines and beers.

Among Ireland's finest enjoying the canapes, cocktails and full bar were TV Personality Geraldine O'Callaghan, 2008 Apprentice Runner Up Nicky O'Callaghan, Siobhan O'Connor from Dublin's 98 with husband Paul Ryan, Model Agents Sean Montague and Brendan Scully, TV3's Elaine Crowley, Louise Osbourne and Orla Hannon, Actress Leigh Arnold with Actor Emmett J Scanlan and models Lenka Markova and Aridja Ngadi. The hostess with the mostest, Sara Kavanagh looked after the crowd on her first night in the job.

Sara will be joined by fellow Hostess, Michelle McGrath this Friday for the official 1st Birthday celebrations at New Buck's Townhouse. Sophie Ellis Bextor will DJ with husband, Richard Jones from The Feeling in their DJ duo Me and Mrs Jones. The entire venue will open early at 10pm with a DJ set from Q102's Ray Shah.

The second coming of the popular Dublin venue is complete with a new fit out that comprises the Master Room, VIP Boudoir Suite, Piano Bar and Terrace. The Master Room includes two full white granite bars, a glittering, state of the art LED dance floor and DJ Booth spilling out remixed, mainstream tunes. The VIP Boudoir Suite has its own separate bar and is complete with crystal ceilings, mood walls and aquariums that perfectly encapsulate the scene for an exclusive evening. The Piano Bar has its very own oval bar, as well as a white baby grand piano and is the ideal venue for intimate live music. The heated Terrace includes stylish 50" plasma screens. The decor is truly superb with details including hand painted silver leaf walls, uniquely designed champagne tables and hand stitched leather seating.

The New Buck's Townhouse is a regular haunt for Ireland's International rugby players, Rob Kearney, Jamie Heaslip, Luke Fitzgerald, Gordon Darcy and Cian Healy, as well as International artists Lily Allen, Seb Fontaine, Alan McGee from Creation Records and Bonehead from Oasis, who participated in an impromptu performance of Wonderwall.

General Manager, Richard McDermott comments on the VIP Boudoir Suite, "We have created a plush modern space for our VIP patrons to relax, unwind and feel at home whilst in the midst of a Club setting".
