Red Carpet rolls out for White Sapphire Ball

The inaugural White Sapphire Ball will be an exclusive Red Carpet Fest held at the Europa Hotel on Saturday 3rd October 2009 in aid of the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.

The much anticipated star studded White Sapphire Ball is being organised by celebrated actress Seainin Brennan and has already attracted some big-name guests.

It will be hosted by two of Northern Ireland's most recognisable TV personalities: John Daly and Gloria Hunniford.

This is the 'must attend' gala of the season and promises to be an unforgettable night of amazing entertainment showcasing the best of artisic talent in Ireland.

RIVERDANCE will top the bill and raise the tempo with a spine-tingling performance of extracts from the smash hit show.

West End star Lee Mead will showcase the talent that won him the BBC's 'Any Dream Will Do' as he performs a selection of songs from his album Nothing Else Matters.

Comedian TIM Mc GARRY, best known as 'Da' from the BBC sitcom 'Give My Head Peace' will take to the stage with his award winning comedy routine.

Following a glamorous red carpet arrival with entertainment by the IRELAND STRING QUARTET, a champagne reception will follow upstairs in the Library Bar, where the METHODY JUNIOR CHOIR will entertain.

Guests will then be seated in the Grand Ballroom where the evening will start with a five course gourmet meal with wine followed by an unforgettable evening of world class entertainment.

Red Carpet to judge Miss Ireland!

Red Carpets Managing Director, Tara Sinnott is delighted to be on the panel of judges at the Miss Ireland competition this Saturday, 26th September 2009 at The Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin.

Other judges on the night who will be selcting a winner from the 33 beauties include: Pop star and TV personality Michelle Heaton, Former Miss Ireland and Catwalk Model; Vivienne Doyle, The 2009 Mr.Ireland; Kamal Ibrahim, Top Fashion photographer; Daniel Holfield, Miss Ireland/Diva Next Door Producer; Stephen Saleh and the Director of Miss Ireland; Mr Krishna Naidoo.

The tickets for the drinks reception at 7pm followed by dinner at 7.30pm are now sold out, but after party tickets are still available.

The Show itself kicks off at 9pm with talented new kid on the block Daniella Moyles and Ulster's most popular voice Stuart McQuitty presenting what promises to be a great show.

The after party at 11.30pm promises a special treat as everyone celebrates the crowning of a new Miss Ireland. Continuing our support for upcoming Irish talent, we present two bands creating vibes on both sides of the Atlantic; Key West and Robbie Butler. Key West have been sought out by and worked with 7 time Grammy award winning producer Mark Needham (produced The Killers and Fleetwood Mac), while Robbie Butler who has already won awards for his song writing, has worked with producer Taylor Mesple who has worked with James Taylor and Keb Mo. All this and both are only after releasing their debut albums!

Suzanne Shaw pairs up with Xpose

Red Carpet would like to thank the gorgeous Suzanne Shaw for allowing the equally stunning Karen Koster and Xpose into her home last week. Red Carpet were delighted to pair the two up and are very much looking forward to seeing the interview on Xpose, TV3 at 6pm on Tuesday 1st September.

Suzanne Shaws' first big break came in the form of a reality TV show, Popstars at the young age of 20. She was successful and joined four other members of the public in forming the pop group, Hear'Say which had a number one hit off the back of the TV show. The group's first single, entitled "Pure and Simple" was the fastest selling non-charitable record ever, selling 1.3 million copies.

Post Hear'Say and the star began to appear on the stage, landing roles in Summer Holiday, Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat an Chicago. Suzanne has also acted in pantomimes and stared as the lead part in Snow White, which was hailed as the UK's best pantomime of the year.

Other work in recent years included parts in ITV's The Bill, The Court on Channel 4 and the popular dance show, Dancing On Ice. Suzanne won the show after reportedly chipping a bone just two weeks before the show finale. In true testament to her talent and skill, she scored a flawless five sixes with the judges in two of her routines - a feat which has never been matched by another contestant on the show.
